Founded in 2012, the Center for Sustainable Development in Africa (CSDA) is a United States based nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization located in Washington, DC.
Our mission is to advance sustainable development practices in Africa through quantifiable capacity building in creating innovative solutions, strengthening entrepreneurial spirit and fostering effective leadership at all levels of society.
At CSDA we believe Africa’s sustainability goals will only be achieved through programs and policies based on holistic approaches that consider five key pillars: water, energy, education, environment and economy.
Our staff of volunteers and board of directors are from highly diverse professional backgrounds.
To help guide our activities, CSDA has recruited the support of a global cadre of thought leaders, entrepreneurs and innovators who believe that sustainable development in Africa is not only important for economic growth but also for global security.
